WHAT WE DO
                               (Types of cases handled)

The office handles virtually all of the common types of insurance subrogation and collection cases, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Auto accidents, including property damage and uninsured motorist
  • Real property and personal property losses
  • Medical payments reimbursement
  • Double payment recovery
  • Premium and liability deductible collection
  • Indemnity and contribution
  • Intercompany Arbitration
  • Commercial and business collections
Cases are usually handled on a contingency basis, with the attorney fee being a percentage of the claim amount recovered (no fee is charged on court costs and other expenses recovered for the client).  However, the office is open to other fee arrangements, such as hourly or flat fee, according to the client’s needs and/or policies.

Generally, we offer a discount for new clients, where a smaller percentage is charged on the first files assigned, with the percentage slowly increasing as more files are assigned.    In any event, we never charge more than 1/3 of the net recovery on any file, and many are handled at a considerably lower rate.  If a case is settled (for a cash-out or monthly payments, without litigation or arbitration, being filed, the maximum fee is usually 25%.  We meticulously keep track of the agreed percentage and all costs expended on each file.
