RICHARD ASHBRAN -- Attorney

     Richard has been practicing law in California for over 33 years and has been handling subrogation and collection cases for over 18 of those years.  Currently, his practice is limited to insurance subrogation and collections, and over his career, he has handled thousands of such cases for insurance carriers and other businesses, large and small.

     He is keenly aware of the requirements of subrogation and account receivable departments, specifically with respect to issues such as timely file handling, accurate hearing and deadline calendaring, regular client communication and status reporting, maximizing recovery and client disbursements.

OFELIA -- Paralegal

          Ofelia has been a member of the Ashbran team for over 17 years and has handled subrogation  and collection cases for that entire period of time.  She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies and has vast experience, ability and dedication.  Under the direction of Mr. Ashbran, she has primary responsibility for the preparation, filing and service of many of the legal pleadings and other documents generated by the office.  Fluent in Spanish, she has assisted in the settlement of numerous cases where the adverse party spoke only Spanish.

ELVIA -– Paralegal

     Elvia has been with the office over 14 years.  In addition to preparing and filing many of the documents produced by the office (lawsuits, defaults, judgment packages, stipulations, declarations, etc.), she has been primarily responsible for the maintenance of the office payment accounts.  She has been in charge of posting, billing, and keeping track of the hundreds of accounts maintained by the office for defendants making monthly payments.  Elvia also has an associate of Arts degree in Paralegal  Studies and is fluent in Spanish.
